Instant style updates for your working wardrobe

If dressing smart is a must in your workplace it can be easy to get stuck in a rut. If you want to inject a little fashion edge into your workwear, then try these quick tips in time for spring...

Bright foot forward

Court shoes are perfect for smart workplaces, but who says they have to be black? Colour-popping hues are an easy way to brighten things up for spring and I love the jewel tones of these shoes from Georgia Rose.

The pep-cil skirt

The pencil skit is an office staple, but you can make it feel more 'now' by choosing one with a peplum hemline for a new take on this classic silhouette. Try Asos for a cheaper version than the pricey one I love below.

Sheer genius

As spring approaches, there are going to be loads of pretty blouses and shirts to choose from. Try one with sheer or burnout detailing to revamp your look. Simply wear over a camisole to keep things modest.

Be jewelled

If you haven't got much money to spend then jewellery can be a great way to add colour and personality to your look. Zara has some great statement pieces while H&M often has some inexpensive hidden gems (excuse the pun).
