I love shoes (you might have already noticed that) and when I was invited to an event for The Rainbow Club I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately it happened just as a sale for a flat I was meant to be buying had fallen through so I didn't make it along. It looked a lot of fun though and the fellow bloggers got to try their hand at dying their own pair of shoes. Take a look at the video to get a closer look at the shoes on offer...
The brand's slogan is 'shoes to dye for' and if you're looking to match your shoes to a dress, your favourite colour or even to a special event then they are definitely the place to start your search. Shoes are hand-dyed in Britain to meet any colour request, making matchy-matchy style all the easier.
It's all about 'colourology'... The study or skill of preparing and mixing colour to an exact match before hand applying to create unique footwear. I opted for bright orange shoes with silver glitter sides... a bold statement but a really fun look. This sort of occasion shoe isn't for everyone, but for weddings or special occasions they are definitely worth a look.
So if you could choose anything in the world to match your shoes to, what would it be? The azure ocean of a beach holiday memory, bright red to match your favourite lipstick or perhaps emerald, Pantone's colour of the year for 2013.
