LFW - Studs & Spikes

I've not seen any studs or spikes on the catwalks themselves, but I've seen a helluva lot on the cobblestones of Somerset House this London Fashion Week. The shoes pictured above were getting plenty of street-style-photographer attention, so much so that I didn't get a chance to the wearer where they came from. My search for them online led me to an Italian designer called Max Kibardin though who has some way-out-there spiked shoes of his own. His shoes have been worn by the likes of Rihanna, and, in fashion editorials, by Kate Moss and Demi Moore.

As soon as Louboutin covered their shoes in spikes and studs it seemed everyone else followed suit. But if you really want to get the look, there's a more affordable and slightly less extreme way to do it, in the form of blogger-favourite Jeffrey Campbell.
