FASHION - Hervé Léger by Max Azria SS13

At the Lincoln Center in New York on Saturday, the Hervé Léger by Max Azria for SS13 was sent down the runway. Staying true to the brand's body-con aesthetic, figure-hugging garments were the order of the day but I thought it was a bit mixed. I love the two styles above, with their interesting necklines and striking detailing, but some of the others (like those pictured below) don't quite hit the mark for me. 

The collection was inspired by 'the remarkable women of Gee’s Bend, Alabama, and their artful quilt making' signifying feminine strength, or so we're told. If there's one thing I'd take away from the collection it wouldn't be the dresses though... it would be those fab python and leather ankle boots! But then, I am a shoe addict so that's hardly surprising.
