SHOPPING - On My Wishlist for April

If you love vintage clothing but hate broken zips, sweat stains and tattered hems then Silk and Sawdust is for you. This brand take inspiration from vintage styles and recreate them in their collections. There's an authenticity that you don't really get on the high street. I love the Alice dress, pictured above right.

GENE has been around in Europe since 2009 and has just launched its SS12 collection in the UK.
Lora, the brand's creative director, reveals that they are 'in talks right now about a collaboration with one of Britain's leading high street stores and an international superstar is wanting to wear GENE on her next world tour! Things couldn't be better!” The pieces are all about simple luxury and I love the white dress pictured above.

Marchesa navy blue draped dress

I love a one-shoulder dress and I love it even better when it has a Marchesa label. This Notte by Marchesa dress features gorgeously draped silk, in a dark, deep blue with black jewel detailing. It's reduced from £665 to £299.25, a nice 55% discount.

Bright blue maxi dress, designer label

The vibrant colour of this maxi from Rebecca Taylor caught my eye while browsing Matches. Even though I am short, I've realised how easy a maxi is for summer dressing. Now I just need the rain to go away and I can actually start wearing them again.

Relaxed shapes can be really elegant if the fabric is luxe enough. This DVF dress is both sheer, and made from silk which definitely fits the bill. You can get it over at Matches.

See what other things I wish were mine over on my 'Get in my wardrobe' Pinterest board. What are you coveting right now?
