BAGS - The New-Job / Fashion Week Bag
When it comes to bags, I do love a statement clutch, but my everyday bag needs to be practical first and foremost. Plus, it needs to be great quality. I'm one of those people who carries around far to much with her and I've had cheap bags which haven't been able to take the weight of the contents - not good when those contents are spilled into the street when a handle breaks!
Next week I start a new job and then go straight into London Fashion Week, so I thought it the perfect time to get a new bag. As I've been working with Sarenza as one of their ambassadors, they were my first port of call and I opted for the Ecolier, a black satchel style bag from Georgia Rose. This brand has so many styles of bags and shoes to choose from they are often the one I go for. The quality's great too.
The reason this bag is perfect for work and Fashion Week is because it has several sections where it's easy to organise different documents as well as everything else we carry in our bags. It's also got a zip at the back for anything you need close at hand, and quickly. The bag fastens with 3 little studs and straps on the front. I also love the handle at the top which means when it's really heavy, it can be carried in the hand rather that across the body or on the shoulder. I'll be sure to get an outfit pic including it while I'm about at Fashion Week.
The bag is currently in the sale for £76.50, reduced from £127.50 - a veritable bargain! It's also available in tan and leopard print if you do love a more statement piece.
Sarenza also have new styles coming in for spring/summer which I've been excited to look at. Their spring/summer lookbook gives an insight into some of the shoe highlights we can expect for this season.
