Here is my outfit which I wore to the J Summer Fashion Show at the Savoy Hotel last week. The dress code said a gown but I figured a pretty frock would do. As it turned out, the show was a little bit disappointing. Paul Costelloe and Jaegar were great but some of the other styling wasn't quite so well done.
Beauty... I'm currently using Estee Lauder's Double Wear light in shade 2 (sometimes mixed with a lighter tinted moisturiser). Primer, bronzer, eye base, eye shadow and lipstick are all by No. 7. The shimmering pigment on top of the eyeshadow is by Illamasqua. Brow palette is by ELF.
Shoes and dress... my shoes are my trusty Nine West black heels. The dress is from Betty Jackson.Black at Debenhams (around £20 reduced from £70 I think). I swear sometimes I am drawn to clothes which are aimed at a woman far older than me, however, I liked this because it had quite a vintage look about it. Plus it is good for my curvier figure, belted at the waist and more flared at the skirt.
Accessories... I went for a bit of bling seeing as it was The Savoy! The bracelet is EB by Erickson Beamon at Debenhams (currently half price!) and the ring is by Guess. My necklace and earrings are by Swarovski.
So there you go, more outfit posts coming soon. Tell me if this is what you'd like to see or if there's something else you think I should be blogging about.
