Who loves a bargain? Harrods are promoting their latest sale with this slick video featuring stylist Louise Roe and the dapper George Lamb. Staying in just got stylish... there's 60% off designer names like Herve Leger, D&G, Nicole Farhi, Valentino, Preen, Paul & Joe, See By Chloe, Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren.
If you can't afford Harrods, even in sale, then do what I do and hit the Debenhams sale. With a whole host of their own designer names including diffusion lines by Preen, Jonathan Saunders, Jasper Conran, Betty Jackson and Henry Holland there's definitely catwalk style. In fact, most of the high street currently has a sale on. But before you go splurging, my biggest tip is to work out what you actually need in your wardrobe before you venture out to the shops and try and stick to just the things you're going to make good use of.
In other more charitable news... This weekend will see Shoreditch host a special event, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Amy Molyneaux of PPQ has designed the tote bag above to help raise more funds too.
Here's the blurb: "The Big Mix has rolled music, comedy, cabaret, fashion and art into the one day event, combining the musical talents of Newton Faulkner; Clare Maguire; CocknBullKid; Treetop Flyers; James Yuill with the comedy pedigree of Rufus Hound and Kevin Eldon amongst others." I'm quite fancying some comedy myself.
You can buy Big Mix tickets for just £20, a mere bargain and all in the name of charity. See some of the venues below and some highlights of the festival bill.
