LINGERIE - What A Lovely Pair

I recently went a little bit crazy on the lingerie front and bough two new sets. One was purchased with a gift voucher compliments of Boux Avenue and the other was a brand that was recommended to me via Twitter.

The Boux Avenue parcel arrived beautifully packaged in lace print tissue paper with faux rose petals inside. They communicated well regarding delivery (which I wasn't in the country to accept) and the courier they used was very helpful in getting it to me the very day I arrived back in the UK from New York.

The set I chose was a pale pink and cream lace bra and matching thong. I wasn't expecting it to be a perfect fit on the first attempt but it was. I ordered the size I was recently fitted as and it's spot on which was a relief. I hate having to send things back and with underwear it's even more problematic. The attention to detail is surprising considering the modest prices, check out the cute metal brand tags and dangling cameos. I also picked up a black thong in a similar style to go with the numerous black bras I already own.

The other set I purchased was from a designer label called Made by Niki. I was instantly drawn to the brightly coloured, retro styling of the sets. I opted for a purple and orange set, the bra being unpadded. The sizing on this came up quite snug so something to be aware of. The website had a sale on with certain items just £10 each instead of around £80. It provided the perfect opportunity to try out something new without breaking the bank.

They also do some great sport/dance style lingerie which would be worth a look.
