Republic's first shoe collection
Yep, Republic have created a shoe collection this winter for the first time. For day expect lace-up boots, shearling and biker boots while for evening you can opt for stilettos with bows, zips and patent touches. Or go for jewelled or leopard pumps for a night out without the pain factor.
Recycled and bespoke shoes by Hetty Rose
During fashion week I discovered a few great brands through the fringe events and exhibitions. Hetty Rose was one such brand. Each pair of shoes is hand-made using vintage fabrics, mainly Japanese kimonos. Each pair starts at £350, so for a really special occasion like a wedding it would be a fabulous treat. I'm loving the style pictured above and the version with a chunky column heel. Fab!
In need of a colour injection?
You know you want a little bit of neon in your life. The Kandee shoe collection for AW10 provides just that and I had close-up view at a recent press day. I'm loving the slightly (but not quite) subtle black heels with bright orange soles.
