EVENT - Gc Present new Campaign Smart Luxury
Thursday night I headed to the Vinyl Factory Gallery in London’s West End, where Swiss watch brand Gc presented their new campaign – Smart Luxury.
They had transformed the exhibition and event space with contemporary furniture, glittering chandeliers and twinkling tealights. The exhibition included the presentation of the Gc Precious Collection of fine diamond timepieces as well as exclusive mechanical limited and special editions. Extra security were no doubt drafted in to protect the haul of expensive, luxury watches.
We also got to see the ‘Smart Moments’ collection of images by photographer Lucinda Marland, reputed for her eye for emotion and thoughtful creativity. She chose to express ‘Smart Moments’ of five up-and-coming artists who embody the Gc brand values: dynamic, ambitious, successful and self-assured.

Emilia Wickstead was wearing the most amazing leather skirt... the glamorous party-goers put me to shame having just come from work. They even laid out the red carpet, it was a great event and I got to ogle some gorgeous watches. For me it's slightly our of reach, perhaps something I'd buy myself to celebrate a promotion or give as a special gift to a boyfriend. That said, there's no harm in planning the purchase even if it's a way off.
