The Topshop boot in progress...
It doesn't officially open to the press and the public until tomorrow, but this morning Tor from Fab Frocks and I popped along to get a sneak peek at the cars and the goods that are going to be on offer at the Westfield Car Boot Fair.
Mary's Living and Giving shop has a spot, and it was probably the most complete in terms of set-up when we arrived. I had a thumb trhough the rails and spotted Ralph Lauren, PPQ and See by Chloe among the labels. Plenty of camel... and I'm told some vintage Chanel handbags will be added too. Exciting, although you are gonna need a couple of hundred in your purse to pick up the really good designer pieces.
Another stand that caught my eye was the Swarovski one. They had loads of magpies as props wearing the jewellery and I'm told there will be some kind of lucky dip too. Whistles are running a cool tombola idea where you have to blow a whistle, and if it works you get to pick something out. I love it when people are a bit creative with this sort of thing.
Team those with key pieces and style tips at Oasis, a catwalk at the House of Fraser car, cupcakes and more. If you are in that neck of the woods it could be worth a look for some extra fun thrown into your shopping spree.
It all takes place from the 21-26 September. For full details visit the Westfield website.
