HAIR - Henry Holland's Designs for Sebastian Professional
Back in February, I went to the House of Holland show at Fashion Week and the hair was provided by Sebastian Professional. I then had the opportunity to chat to the team behind Sebastian at a recent P&G event where I got a heads up on the new designer collaboration.
Henry Holland has created three exciting limited edition packaged designs for Sebastian Professional’s hero products, and you can check them out now. All have been inspired by the AW10 House of Holland show which focussed on the down-town Harlem ghetto girl, with models
sporting paisley bandannas in candy hues as they took to the runway.
I've tried the Sebastian Professional shampoos and conditioners which I love and can recommend. Here are the products which have been given the House of Holland touch...
Potion 9 Light – A nourishing conditioning spray containing 9 active botanical extracts to restore lustre, add shine and de tangle. It also eliminates humidity and is great for creating beachy waves
Shine Define Spray – Shine and flexible hold spray with a sensual satin sheen enhancer
Volupt Spray - With root lift technology combining full-on volume and sensual softness. Spray onto damp hair then blow-dry for extra volume or air-dry to enhance waves and curls. Contains natural bamboo extract and a heat protectant.
Henry Holland says about the inspiration behind the bottle designs: “I’ve worked with Sebastian on quite a few of my shows now and when the opportunity to get my hands on the packaging came up, I wanted to give it the look of my latest show. I use the products on my own hair and can imagine I have a good idea of what the Sebastian customer would want as the brand is so edgy. I wanted to make sure the bottle designs fitted perfectly with the ghetto theme of the show. They wouldn’t let me stick on a ghetto necklace – sorry, so you’ve got the design of it only”
