The highlight of the things I took along was a yellow shift dress and my favourite item I took home was a vintage beige and black printed dress... I'm currently thinking up a way to wear it. Pics will come when I do. It was actually brought in by Natasha Bailie who runs a lovely vintage website. Check it out.
It must be hard coming up with fun ideas to promote a product like Tampax, but they've managed it with the funny and quirky Mother Nature idea. She just can't help giving a gift each month - sort of cheesy but it totally works and the Facebook page has oodles of fans. Anyway, here's more about the event...

We were treated to drag Queen entertainment for the evening.
Cupcakes and champagne, a combination that never fails to impress.

Here is the sort of outfit I wore. I got the cute sequin jacket from Blue Inc. It's really versatile because the sequins are quite matt which makes them ideal for daytime and evening. It isn't going to out-glitz people or make you shine like a disco ball, yet it's still shimmery. I kept my outfit quite simple other than that, I didn't have much time to get organised and I was at work all day too. Sometimes you just need something that's easy to throw together and this is.
