STYLE - Give it Some Welly
Festival season has snuck up on us, and as every festival fashionista knows - when it rains, it pours. To be on the safe side, wellies are a must and there are plenty of pairs to choose from at the moment. I have selected some of the boots that have caught my eye lately and there should be a pair to suit you all.
If money is no object, then go for these Jimmy Choo designed Hunter wellies. The black snake skin effect boots will ensure you out-chic the next reveller. You will need a few hundred pounds though, oh and did I mention there is a waiting list. Lets move swiftly on...
If you like to stand out then Babysham have the perfect wellies for you. Bright pink with a colourful rainbow, these are bound to get you noticed.
Can't stomach leaving you heels at home? Go for the Shuella, designed to be worn over heels when things get wet. In my opinion, you should be leaving the heels at home, but I won't judge you if you can't manage it.
Classic Hunter wellies, in a ladylike shade of pale pink. Maintain your girly look while you get covered in mud.
Those with a sweet tooth will be powerless to resist these smarties wellies. They are enough to make me hungry.
These zebra rain boots will bring out the animal in you, and monochrome is always in!
Ideal for label lovers, Burberry's checked wellington boots are understated but still show you are brand savvy.
As for me, I got mine in the winter sale being the bargain hunter I am. Wellies have become a summer staple, rather than a winter essential - all in response to our great outdoor music events and unpredictable English weather.
