The Clothes Show London is the place to see and be seen for anyone interested in fashion. It is also the perfect venue for the Fashion and Textile Museum, whose stand will be one of the highlights at the show.
At the FTM stand, you can catch a preview of the upcoming exhibition 'Undercover: The Evolution of Underwear', which opens on 12th June 2009. The exhibition traces the evolution of underwear, from health garment, shape definer to fashion ‘must have’. It covers themes such as boudoir, everyday glamour and ‘Stars and their bras’, looking at celebrity branding.
There will also be a chance to enter a prize draw to win a free curator's tour of the new exhibition, along with a short break in an area selected by Vogue as one of London's coolest quarters. The lucky winner and a friend will enjoy a luxury night at the Bermondsey Square Hotel including dinner at Alfie's Kitchen, the newly opened boutique hotel's fantastic restaurant.
If you have any pennies left in your pocket by the time you get there, you will also be able to buy fab designer pieces, fashion books and FTM merchandise.
If you don't get to The Clothes Show London to see the preview, then the official exhibition runs from Friday 12th June until Sunday 27th September 2009 and is open from 11.00am-6.00pm Wednesday to Sunday. Ticket prices are £6.50 for adults, £3.50 for students and concessions, with entry free for under 12s
