BEAUTY - Treat Mum to Garnier Vital Restore
Regular readers may remember I posted about the new Garnier Vital Restore range last month. I have since acquired some samples to test out, along with the help of my mum. With Mother's Day coming up, it seemed perfect timing for some beauty products aimed at mature skin.
After the age of 50, skin appears to age faster, loses firmness and becomes prone to age spots. Cell renewal at the skin’s surface layers is slower and skin becomes drier and loses elasticity. This makes a good skin care routine even more important at this time.
Garnier have created Garnier Vital Restore for mature skin which is the first skincare range enriched with a unique combination of orchid extract and soy bio-proteins.
Orchids are recognised for their flawless beauty, but not many people are aware of their resilience. Their secret is their unique ability to store water and essential nutrients to support new growth and help preserve their beauty. Garnier’s skincare experts were inspired by the orchid’s powerful properties and created a formula which helps to rehydrate, reinforce skin’s structure and protect against the appearance of age spots.
From the range I tested out:
Garnier Vital Restore Day Cream SPF15 (RRP £9.99)
• Intense to leave skin feeling rehydrated and its surface reinforced
• UVA and UVB filters help protect skin from premature ageing.
This luxurious cream was ideal for everyday. It leaves skin nourished and smells absolutely divine. Compared to more expensive creams on the market, it does a great job. My mum also tested out this cream as she has the skin type this cream has been created for. You can certainly see the difference after regular use.
Garnier Vital Restore Anti-age Spots Serum (RRP £11.99)
• Helps to reduce the appearance of age spots
• Revitalises and restores radiance
I love the consistency of face serums; they glide on and leave skin flawless. I personally find this a better base for make up than if I had used a thicker mosturiser. Reducing the appearance of age spots is a key selling point for this cream, especially for skin that sees a lot of sun.
