The London College of fashion has recently opened its Centre for Sustainable Fashion. With the environment ever on the agenda, it seemed natural for student fashion to get a conscience. The aim is to integrate education and industry to create better lives through a sustainable fashion industry. Students are currently working with
Oxfam.
It is great that green projects are being encouraged and the creativity of students can help improve the industry for the future. Conferences and seminars help raise awareness of the issues that new designers may be affected by. They even have their own
blog.
